We believe that sustainability is as much about people as it is about the environment. We aim to design and develop human-friendly environments that create a positive experience and sense of community for people.

Health and wellbeing on our sites

We acknowledge that industrial warehouses haven’t traditionally been the most comfortable places to work. But we don’t believe that needs to be the case in the future. By approaching the design of our facilities with a human-centered approach, we want to improve the day-to-day lives and wellbeing and experience of our customer’s employees through spaces designed specifically for socialising, exercising, eating, taking a break, and more. Whether it’s by maximising natural light reaching the working areas, or by providing bike lanes and showers for employees, we aim to provide the means for people to feel well on our sites.

Enriching our surrounding communities

When one thinks of community centers, logistics facilities don’t often come to mind. However, by creating shared spaces that the surrounding neighbourhoods can use and enjoy, we want to challenge the idea that logistics hubs can only provide employment to their communities. From sports facilities, parks and vegetable gardens to restaurants and parking garages, we collaborate with local municipalities to discover the needs of their citizens. Ultimately, we intend to enable our customers to engage with and enrich their communities in a variety of ways.

Did you know?

According to the International Road Transport Union, more than 70% of everything in our built environment was transported by a truck, which demonstrates how important trucks and their drivers are for society. Meanwhile, there is a global shortage of truck drivers, and it’s often due to poor working conditions out on the road.

Supporting the people who keep the world moving

Truck drivers provide one of the most crucial services to our modern, globalised societies. However, their working conditions don’t often reflect that. Even though they aren’t always directly employed by our customers, we try to support truck drivers by installing showers and rest areas in some of our sites. We want to improve the health and wellbeing of everyone who interacts with our logistics spaces.
