DHL Global Forwarding, the air and ocean freight specialist of Deutsche Post DHL, has significantly strengthened its activity at Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport. Goodman, the project developer and investor, and Aéroports de Paris, the land developer, have signed a long-term pre-let agreement whereby Goodman will develop and invest in a 16,000 sqm warehouse and office building for DHL’s air cargo activity.
This project will enable DHL Global Forwarding to relocate, by the end of 2014, all its air transit activities at this future 16,000 sqm facility, located on the airport site and with a possibility of direct access to-runways and the aircraft holds.

Our new secured infrastructures will enable us to optimise our operational performance. By strengthening our presence on Paris CDG airport, we lay the foundation for further supporting our customers. We will take this significant opportunity to make specific investments dedicated to different industry sectors such as Luxury and Life Sciences. Goodman will deliver the property in two phases, with the 12,000 sqm warehouse to be handed over by the end of August 2014, while the 4,000 sqm of office space will be delivered by the end of 2014. The new 16,000 sqm airport logistics facility will enable DHL Global Forwarding to relocate all of its air transit activities to, providing them with a direct access to the runway.
